A Sunny Montana Wedding

JoSh and Taylors Rustic Boho Wedding

Some weddings feel like a deep breath of mountain air; easy, joyful, and filled with intentional beauty. That’s exactly how Josh and Taylor’s wedding day unfolded. Set on a private family property just outside Kalispell, this sun-soaked celebration was full of heart and handcrafted charm.

The ceremony took place on land owned by Taylor’s mother, which added a layer of meaning to every moment. Surrounded by golden fields, pine trees, and their closest loved ones, Josh and Taylor said “I do” under her favorite tree in her childhood backyard.

The rustic, boho style came to life through the thoughtful details: a rich, earthy color palette of teal, olive, burnt orange, and cream wove throughout; from the florals and table settings to the bridesmaid dresses and handmade decor. Each detail reflected the couple’s laid-back, artistic spirit.

One of my favorite things about this wedding was how deeply personal it felt. From the relaxed backyard atmosphere to the emotional vows and cozy reception with childhood portraits placed at every table, it was clear that every part of the day was chosen with love.

Josh and Taylor are the kind of couple who make you feel welcome just by being around them. Their laughter, connection, and total ease with one another made photographing their day an absolute joy. These two have built a life rooted in friendship, adventure, and shared dreams; and their wedding was a perfect reflection of that.

To Josh and Taylor: thank you for inviting me to be part of such a special day. Your love is warm, grounded, and full of light. I’m so honored to have captured it.
